cardigan (worn backwards): wish, leather jacker & pencil skirt: river island, shoes: superglue, sunglasses: sportsgirl, clutch: acne studios
We were invited to be a part of the Wish ‘Winter In The City’ style challenge, an exciting offer we definitely could not refuse! Wish was kind enough to send us their awesome ‘crossed cardi’ which I (Alex) thought would be fun to wear backwards as a backless high neck knit top! Such an interesting way to change up and old classic and take your cardigans from day wear to night wear. I absolutely fell for the monochrome colour palette, simple line pattern and the fact that it feels like a dream.

So, in this post I (Alex) am wearing my three most recent purchases that I am completely obsessed with. Lets start by talking about this coat, which I call my Scuba Diving coat as I believe it is made from the EXACT fabric scuba divers wear, and I love it. I discovered it after a customer came into work wearing it, I literally grabbed her and begged her to tell me where her amazing coat was from. I half expected her to drop a designer name, until she told me it was from an Korean online store and was quite cheap. I then spent my lunch break searching the web for this coat, found it and ordered it right then and there. The ‘Scuba’ type material creates such a great shape, and minimalist look! My second obsession is my new Uniqlo mens cashmere jumper. This Autumn/Winter I have become obsessed with cashmere, which seems to be the only thing that keeps me warm, plus it feels like you are wearing a cloud. The only downside about cashmere is that most pieces made from the luxury textile are VERY expensive. This is why I love the fact Uniqlo sell amazing quality cashmere for only $130 (aus) which is an absolute bargain. I chose to go for a mens style as most of the time I dress more like a boy than a girl, as well as the fact that the mens style jumpers have the perfect high neck line and bagginess to them. Third and final, my new Acne Studios jeans. Acne is by far my favourite designer label, and I just love everything about it, so when I visited their pop up sale store in Melbourne I had to try and control myself. I came across these amazing stretchy velvet looking jeans which have the perfect mid rise waist and cropped length and only cost me $160 (aus). Amazing.
